About Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME)

The Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME) was chartered in 1985 and is a 183-member club based in Chennai with members from diverse professions and fields. The club is known for its charitable projects throughout Rotary International. It also believes in active engagement of women in Rotary, not only as Rotarians but as strong pillars of support deeply involved in the club projects. The Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME) boasts of 30 lady Rotarians and is always on the lookout to engage young and energetic individuals. Some of the hallmark projects run by the RCME include The Winners Bakery, Annai Sathyanagar- A slum no more, The Community College at Beemenapet, The Vocational Excellence Centre at Thoraipakkam and The Penn Nalam Cancer Screening Bus.
