Little Theatre Group
About Little Theatre Group
Founded by the late Shri Inder Lal Dass over 70 years ago, the Little Theatre Group staged its first play Society Ke Thekedar in April 1947 at the Sindhi Open Air Theatre in Lahore. Comprising theatre enthusiasts from all walks of life, the Little Theatre Group continued staging amateur theatrical productions all across the country over the next 30 years, winning many accolades and appreciation, until it found its permanent home at the present-day LTG Auditorium at Copernicus Marg in March 1976. The Auditorium is now a preferred performing arts center for many national and international artists, with a variety of spaces available for hire, state-of-the-art facilities and a steady crowd of patrons that walk through its doors every week. With over sixty decades of performances, concerts, events, and festivals behind it, LTG actively contributes to the vibrant cultural landscape of New Delhi.
