About Kal-Aakaar Collective

Kal-Aakaar Collective (KAC) is a performing-arts academy and a collective for performers, ideators and creators. Since its inception in 2012, it has been to working to revive and restore love for the traditional performing arts, both Indian and International, amongst the young and old alike. The Kal-Aakaar Collective firmly believes that exposure to good cultural experiences amongst the younger generation is one of the chief cornerstones of nation building. Avirbhav Concerts is one such initiative aimed at helping families with children familiarise themselves with stage shows and cultural performances.

The Collective provides learning in various performing arts through certified programmes in both Indian and World performing arts. It creates and curates outreach programmes and events with schools and corporates to use arts as a medium of education. KAC also curates workshops, events, baithaks (meaning “meeting” or “session”) for all audiences. Its forte is to create original programming, events, concerts and festivals in the arts for children and adults.
