About Hyderabad Literary Festival

The Hyderabad Literary Festival is organised by the Hyderabad Literary Trust with the support of several literary and cultural organisations and publishing houses. The festival currently has three directors. Amita Desai, director, Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad; B. Kinnera Murthy, former professor and dean of Strategic Management at The Administrative Staff College; and T. Vijay Kumar, visiting professor at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Literary Trust enjoys the patronage of K. T. Rama Rao, the Minister for Information Technology, Municipal Administration & Urban Development and Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana. The Chair of the festival committee is Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce and Information Technology departments, Government of Telangana.
