Founded in 2000, banglanatak dot com is a social enterprise specialising in culture and development. Festivals hosted by banglanatak dot com aim at empowering rural traditional artists and promoting cultural diversity. These festivals have emerged as forums for cultural exchange and collaboration. Village festivals hosted in collaboration with folk artists and craftspersons have led to the recognition of artist villages as cultural destinations. 

Banglanatak dot com has been recognised as a finalist for the Jeonju International Award for Promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2019 and has received the UNAIDS Civil Society Award in 2006 and the Most Creative Community Outreach Project Award by Project Inspire of UN Women & MasterCard, Singapore in 2009.
