Zindagi Mubarak

Zindagi Mubarak

Zindagi Mubarak is a three day zero waste festival held in the picturesque mountains of Uttarakhand, curated by Ishqestan and Kaarkhana. It has been started with a noble intent to create a platform for the local artists and the artisans; employment opportunities for the villagers and to celebrate this very gift that is life. Immersive musical concerts, workshops, barefoot nature walks, sharing sessions, yoga and meditation, open mic sessions, bathing in the fresh waters, experience of living in the mountains, magical sunrises, moonrises, sunsets and winding pathways, are some of the highlights of this holistic festival.

The festival is created with the idea of fostering deeper connections with the community, nature and our very own selves, to create a space where we can look within and discover together how we can make “Zindagi Mubarak.” and therefore, build a community of  like minded people -artists, musicians, travelers, writers, philosophers, lovers, thinkers and anyone who is interested to explore deeper understanding of life. The workshops or the activities are fun and exploratory in nature.

Zindagi Mubarak 1.0 was held in a very remote village named Kamdai, in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand in May 2023. Zindagi Mubarak 2.0 is soon going to be held in Bodhigram, Thano, Uttarakhand (21 kms from Dehradun, 23 kms from Rishikesh and 7 kms from Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun) from 15 to 17 August 2024.
