Cultural Management ‘Mentor Hours’

Cultural Management ‘Mentor Hours’

Festivals From India and the Goethe Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai, bring together Cultural Management Mentor Hours for creative professionals and cultural managers across various arts segments and organisations in India. With a specific focus on ‘How to Build a Successful Festival IP’, Mentor Hours offers early to mid-career creative and cultural professionals an opportunity to engage with mentors from their field of work in short-format group sessions to address professional upskilling needs, learning gaps and guidance on venturing into new avenues within the sector.

Designed as a series of presentations by mentors followed by group mentorship sessions, the aim is to bring expert insight to management practice on a digital platform that enables connections across different regions in the country. Our mentors, Tej Brar, Head – Festivals, NODWIN Gaming, Tess Joseph, Director of Curation, SPOKEN FEST and Pankhuri Upadhyay, Founder, Maker’s Legal, will focus on different aspects of building and sustaining successful large-format events and IPs, enabling attendees to better understand and shape the long-term viability of their projects. Focus areas will include understanding and shaping an IP, developing and growing a community and legal protection of intellectual property.
