About CultureCon
CultureCon – a creative sector conference – was launched in 2020 as a collaboration between by Arts Culture Resources India (ACRI), a network and platform for cultural professionals in India and South Asia, and Godrej India Culture Lab, an experimental cultural space that explores what it means to be modern and Indian through conversations, fellowships and resource creation. The inaugural edition of the conference was held on February 6-7, 2020. Partners for the conference included the now disbanded Godrej India Culture Lab, SDA Bocconi, British Council, G5A and Goethe-Institut/ Max Muller Bhavan.CultureCon 2024 reimagines the role of a conference in a post-pandemic India – an India charged by both promising growth and significant ideological contrasts. Within this what role does culture, creativity and commerce play?

We intend for CultureCon 2024 to raise the level of the fast growing Festivals, Events and Creative Economy to the global standard whilst developing a diverse but close-knit network and community. CultureCon will offer everyone in the creative community access to knowledge and networks in the industry, festival management skills, and career opportunities.
