India Foundation for the Arts
Arts Practice Programme
The Arts Practice programme supports projects that help artists expand their practices in new directions. Projects can challenge conventions, explore new frontiers, and engage with space, audiences, and communities in innovative ways.
Forms of projects include:
- Exploring nascent ideas
- Producing artistic works
- Creating spaces for exchange through seminars, residencies, and workshops
- Building platforms for collaboration
The programme encourages work in Indian languages other than English and supports collaborations within and across practices. Proposals can be discussed with IFA staff and submitted in written or audio/video formats.
