GreenLitFest

GreenLitFest

The GreenLitFest was started in June 2021 as a series of monthly talks conducted with the purpose of mainstreaming conversations around the environment and India’s preparedness to deal with climate change.

The series culminates with a three-day festival in December. Together, they serve as a platform dedicated to identifying, celebrating and promoting books and other forms of cultural expressions related to green literature.

Interviews, panel discussions, film screenings and music performances were part of the inaugural edition of the GreenLitFest. Such notable Indian and international writers as Shekhar Pathak, John Elkington, Jairam Ramesh, Nicola Davies and Chen Qiufan were among the speakers.

The second instalment in December 2022 was an in-person event in Bengaluru.
