All Living Things Environmental Film Festival
All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) is a platform launched in 2020 in
Panchgani, Maharashtra that inspires climate awareness and action at scale through the power of
cinema. The festival increases awareness and empathy to inspire climate action locally and at large.
With plenty of global flair and an Indian flavour, ALT EFF curates the best of environmental films
every year and cultivates audiences across borders, linguistics and classes of the society.
The All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) debuted with its decentralised approach in 2022 as it travelled pan India enabling in-person screenings, panel discussions, film-maker Q&A’s and much more. Some of the films showcased at the festival included “All That Breathes” by Shaunak Sen, “The Keepers of Corn” by Gustavo Vazquez, “Colonies in Conflict” by Rajani Mani and “The Seeds of Vandana Shiva” by Camilla Becket, among others.
With film at its core, the festival creates spaces and experiences by facilitating environmental
dialogue, debate and participation both online (free and pay-as-you-feel model) and in-person
events.
The upcoming festival is set to go live between 01 and 10 December 2023 with live events in each state of India and internationally.

Additional Terms for Digital Festivals
- Users may face interruptions during the course of the live stream due to internet connectivity issues. Neither Festivals From India nor the Festival Organiser is responsible for such interruptions.
- The Digital Festival / Event may have interactive elements and will involve participation from the Users.
