About BEYOND Bollywood

Hong Kong-based dance charity BEYOND Bollywood was established in 2015 with a core mission “to be the accelerator in cohering and nurturing an emerging and robust Indian dance community”. BEYOND Bollywood aims to heighten the visibility of the diverse spectrum in dance from India in Hong Kong. Its initiatives include the AWAKE Indian Dance Festival, a radio programme themed around diversity in Bollywood; the production of the film The Voice of Dance; and cultural exchanges with Athens and Taipei.
