About TIFA Working Studios

TIFA Working Studios is a “multidisciplinary platform for creativity and culture” that serves as an “inclusive space for local involvement and global exchange, facilitating critical dialogue, cultural engagement and experimental practice”. It was started in 2014 as an alternative institute for arts and cultural programmes, which grew into a residency and co-working centre for artists, academicians and creators. The institute is an alternative educational programme designed to promote creative and entrepreneurial thinking. The residency facilitates “experimentation with an atmosphere of collaboration, research and making through critical discussion and feedback”.

The centre lays the foundation for “enriched public interactions among the varied layers of the social fabric to drive local dialogue and engagement” through its many events and festivals. TIFA, the founders say, is a constantly evolving space to “share, build, theorise, create, ideate and grow”.
