The Spoken festival, which celebrates the magic of words and provides a platform for vibrant voices in storytelling, poetry, spoken word, stand-up comedy, theatre and music, will make its long-awaited return on Saturday, 19 November and Sunday, 20 November at Jio World Garden in Mumbai. This time, the line-up features such fan favourites as actors Ahsaas Channa and Mithila Palkar, comedians Sumukhi Suresh and Vir Das, singers Anumita Nadesan, Osho Jain and Sid Sriram and the bands Alif and When Chai Met Toast, to name just a few.
Among the other activities and attractions to look forward to at the multiarts festival are an audience open mic, an ‘art scavenger hunt’, and sessions where you ‘Make friends with strangers’ and become part of an improv story. To make the experience even better for Festivals From India readers, festival organisers Kommune are giving away a pair of season tickets to three users of our platform.
